Looking at familiar places with fresh eyes is always a path to new discoveries. I’m visiting my family in Portugal, in the countryside. For some reason I have never really paid much attention to the local wild flowers. It turns out they are amazing! And they are everywhere…
I bought this film some years ago, when the Polaroid market was on the way down. A few months later I couldn’t find it in the shops anymore. I did manage to buy some more Polaroid film in specialised shops online, and now the Impossible Project is bringing new film out that you can use in your old Polaroid cameras. So the Polaroid fun does carry on….These pictures were taken in 2001 (I think!) in an area close to where I’m living now.
Today is actually raining! But some weeks ago we finally had some really nice warm days. So we decided to go to the old quarry to do some photo shots. If you’re into industrial-lunar landscapes you would like this place.
I recently move to Germany, and this blog will focus mainly on my new adventures in my home in Germany. However I thought I would start this blog with my favourite photo of Brighton (where I used to live). This photo was taken in November 2010, and it was my first snowy day in Brighton.
