The Portuguese countryside with all its wild untamed beauty. It’s not manicured as in other countries. Plants and flowers grow wild as less people cultivate the fields. Climate changes are more and more a concern with the increase of wild fires, but the land also regenerates and fights back.
Looking at familiar places with fresh eyes is always a path to new discoveries. I’m visiting my family in Portugal, in the countryside. For some reason I have never really paid much attention to the local wild flowers. It turns out they are amazing! And they are everywhere…
