My commute to work is shorter now, which is nice on the one hand, but on the other hand I don’t really have time to read or do anything interesting…
This week I noticed how cool all the power cables on my commuting route actually are. In the UK the power is on the train tracks, and in winter the train schedules always get affected if the tracks get too cold or too wet, here the power is up, so I am hoping there will be less drama in winter….
How do you get to work? Do you have to commute too?
Yesterday we went for breakfast at the Café Bleu in Darmstadt. This is, so far, one of our favourite places to have breakfast (or Frühstück as the locals called it ;)). It was a really nice day! The weather was warm and we enjoyed a lovely bike ride through the local touristic hotspots, like the Mathildenhöhe and the Rosenhöhe. I was a bit disappointed that there weren’t more Roses at the Rosenhöhe!

New bike has arrived!
Went for a very short bike ride in the woods… lots of neon green everywhere.
Looking at familiar places with fresh eyes is always a path to new discoveries. I’m visiting my family in Portugal, in the countryside. For some reason I have never really paid much attention to the local wild flowers. It turns out they are amazing! And they are everywhere…
Today is actually raining! But some weeks ago we finally had some really nice warm days. So we decided to go to the old quarry to do some photo shots. If you’re into industrial-lunar landscapes you would like this place.
